FELASA has published the Guidelines for Continuing Education, which are available through the website.

Continuing Professional Developmnent is a prerequisite for many professional medical and scientific disciplines but less common for those involved in laboratory animal work. The Revision of Directive 86/609EEC requires that persons "are adequately educated, competent and continously trained". FELASA has developed guidance on how such CPD scheme could be developed.
