Revision education and training recommendations towards 2010/63/EU
Synopsis
Transposition of the revised Directive 2010/63/EU offers a unique opportunity to establish a harmonized framework across Europe that assures the competence of all persons involved in laboratory animal experiments. This would affirm the European Commission`s commitment to uniform, high standards of animal welfare and assist the movement of trained persons within Europe. A major challenge is to ensure consistency across Europe because each Member State will need to publish its minimum requirements.
